NRB Network’s dynamic new program “Amazing Facts” features the very best of Pastor Doug Batchelor. “Pastor Doug,” an energetic, soul-winning evangelist and author, took the reins of the “Amazing Facts” ministry in 1994. An innovative speaker with an unusual ability to communicate both to churchgoers and the unchurched, Pastor Doug’s vibrant leadership has allowed the ministry to grow rapidly - reaching more people in more ways than ever before.
“Amazing Facts” was originally launched in the late 1960s. In order to attract radio listeners from all walks of life, they began with a brilliant idea: to present compelling biblical messages followed by an "amazing fact." At the end of each program, they offered a free Bible lesson to encourage listeners to study God’s Word for themselves. Their efforts proved so successful that soon the Amazing Facts Ministry was ready to expand. They began publishing dozens of Christ-centered books and created a free mail-based Bible school that was available to everyone.
Shortly afterwards, the ministry started sending trained young men to preach the Gospel around the country, winning souls wherever there were willing hearts. Then, in the mid-1980s, “Amazing Facts” began airing on television. The clear, Bible-based programs proved to be powerful, life-changing messages for thousands of viewers around the world.
Pastor Doug told the NRB Network, “It’s our goal at “Amazing Facts” to bring the whole Bible to life in a practical way for people from all backgrounds.
