Fall arrives early on NRB Network 
 
September 14, 2009 marks the beginning of fall on NRB Network with the addition of new shows to the broadcast schedule.  As a part of its ongoing commitment to deliver the latest in quality, relevant, God-honoring entertainment, the channel continues to change and expand its lineup each season.  Viewers are sure to enjoy the new offerings this fall including:

Foundations of Apologetics

New to NRB Network is Foundations of Apologetics featuring Dr. Ravi Zacharias, renowned Bible scholar and host of the popular radio broadcasts, Let My People Think and Just Thinking.  Well-versed in comparative religions, cults, and philosophy, Dr. Zacharias travels the world evangelizing and teaching both the powerful and the ordinary to critically assess the Word of God and to apply its truth to modern times.  Viewers can watch Foundations of Apologetics on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm ET.

Bible Answer Man

Got questions about scripture?  Hank Hanegraaff has an answer for you.  The popular, long-running radio show, Bible Answer Man, has come to television.  NRB Network viewers can tune in and expand their knowledge of scripture on Wednesday nights at 9:00 pm ET. 

Inspired Ambition

Inspired Ambition is a 13-part documentary that follows Erica Lane on her passage from school teacher to Christian music artist.  Along her journey, Erica meets top music artists and others influential in media and ministry.  NRB Network viewers will be blessed by Erica’s faith and determination as she pursues her new-found career.  Inspired Ambition airs Thursday nights at 11:30 pm ET. 

Journey Into the Amazon & Missions Dilemma

From producer Dianne Becker comes two new shows, Journey Into the Amazon and Missions Dilemma.  Described by its producer as “a reality show where no one gets voted out of the tribe”, Journey Into the Amazon is an intriguing documentary that follows a group of travelers to Ecuador deep in to the jungles of the Amazon Rainforest to meet a tribe once considered the most violent on earth. The group is led by Steve Saint, author of End of the Spear and son of Nate Saint who was speared to death in 1956 by this very tribe.  Viewers will captivated by this incredible story and breath-taking footage.  Journey Into the Amazon airs every Thursday night at 8:30 pm ET. 

Missions Dilemma is an 8-part series, also featuring Steve Saint, which explores the effectiveness of contemporary missions and challenges the church to re-evaluate how they do missions work.  This thought-provoking program is a must-see for church leaders and those interested in missions work.  Viewers can catch Missions Dilemma on Thursday nights at 8:00 pm ET on NRB Network.

Luther’s Germany & Bavarian Treasures

Luther’s Germany is a 13-part documentary that chronicles the life of reformer, Martin Luther, and his tremendous influence in the history of the German church.  From his early life in Eisleben to his life-changing conversion experience in Erfurt to his time in the Augustinian Monastery, viewers are sure to learn more about this great man of faith.   Watch Luther’s Germany on Friday mornings at 12:00 am ET.

Immediately following Luther’s Germany at 12:30 am ET is Bavarian Treasures.  Another 13-part documentary, it explores Christian influences in the history and culture of Germany.  Viewers will learn fascinating facts about German cuisine, crafts, music, theater and more.
